Objective To discuss the dentofacial development and features of Fujian normal adults by Jarabak cephalometric analysis, Based on that we could provide evidences for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Metheods Using cephalometric software analyzes 90 Fujian normal adults by Jarabak cephalometric under Natural Head Posture, and compares the differences between male and female. Results The normal values of Fujian normal adults measured by Jarabak were established, Most skeletal liner measurements showed significant difference between male and female adults, and they showed similar growth pattern. Conclusions According to Jarabak Cephalometric Analysis,orthodontics can evaluate skeletal features,muscle type,malformation level,and the trend of function change. It also contribute to calculate the change of facial type during orthodontic treatment process.
