ObjectiveTo explore the association between the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) of APEX1 gene and the susceptibility to hepatocellular carcinoma among Chinese Han people in Fujian.MethodsThe SNP of APEX1 rs2307486, rs1130409 and rs33956927 were detected by ligase detection reaction (LDR) and sequecing test, and the linkage disequilibrium (LD) and haplotype analysis were also used to investigate the association of the SNPs with the risk of HCC.ResultsFor the polymorphism of rs33956927 significantly increased the risk of develop HCC(P=0.002), whereas the rs2307486 and rs1130409 polymorphisms had no effects on HCC(P＞0.05).ConclusionsAPEX1 rs33956927 polymorphism with GA genotype may more sensitive to HCC.APEX1 rs33956927 polymorphism can be used as a risk factor for screening HCC; while rs2307486 and rs1130409 polymorphisms had no effects on HCC.
