Abstract:Objective To explore the image of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)in postpartum placental retention and its clinical significance. Methods We performed a retrospective analysis on 28 cases of postpartum placental retention(6 cases of placenta residue, 6 cases of adherent placenta, 16 cases of placenta increta )patients with conventional ultrasonography findings and contrast-enhanced ultrasound enhanced mode. Results Postpartum retention of placenta ultrasound imaging enhancement pattern was divided into three types: high rapid enhancement, synchronous or low enhanced, and not-enhanced. The coincidence rate of conventional ultrasonic combined CEUS in the diagnosis of placenta residue, placenta adhesion and placenta increta(89.29%,25/28)was significantly higher than conventional ultrasound(57.14%, 16/28)(P<0.05). Conclusion CEUS is helpful in diagnose of postpartum placental retention, for better understanding of its courses, and it may help with providing personalized treatment options with imaging date.
